Nelson club
Situated in Tahunanui and built on a sandy base which provides rapid draining after rain. The Tahunanui links, as the locals call it, is a 6,323 metres, par 72 course, which has narrow undulating fairways and moderately fast greens. It overlooks Tasman Bay and has great views of the surrounding mountains. Nelson Airport is close to the course. Nelson, 36 Bolt Road, Tahunanui.

Greenacres club
A little further out of Nelson at Best Island, Richmond. It is notable for its beautiful scenery and pleasant, uncrowded atmosphere. Greenacres, Best Island, Richmond.

Motueka Golf Club
Motueka Golf Club's has a verdant 18 hole course. Our coastal course is flat and provides a great day of golf against the backdrop of Mount Arthur and the ranges of Kahurangi National Park. While to the east is the glistening Tasman Bay with views to the Marlborough Sounds..

Tasman Golf Club
Tasman, Kina Road, Tasman. At Kina Beach, half-an-hour's drive out of Nelson. The course has wonderful sea and mountain views and is relatively easy to play at 4,818 metres, par 66. The steep contours make it quite an interesting challenge and above all it is an enjoyable day out in such a relaxed country atmosphere and the green fees are extremely modest.

Waahi Taakaro, Matai Valley.
Municipal Course. The Waahi Taakaro Golf Course shop is open from 7am - 7pm, with an honesty box for after-hours players. Green fees are $13 for 9 holes and $15 for 18 holes, students $7. Club hire is $10 for a half set and $20 for a full set. Golf coaching is available and clinics are offered for juniors from 12-15 years. The clubhouse and/or golf course can be hired for group or corporate bookings. Meet other golfers at Twilight golf on Thursday from 4pm - open to everyone. From November to April, the course is open every day (in winter, Saturday is club day.)
